Are you looking for a high-energy group dance workout set to upbeat music? Zumba might be what you're looking for! Zumba provides a fun workout with options appropriate for all ages and ability levels.

You don't need special dance skills to have a great time in Zumba class! Zumba classes typically consist of a slower warm-up song, building intensity throughout the workout, and ending with a cool-down song. The choreography is repetitive and designed to be built upon, so most people will catch on to the moves as they go. Make sure to wear shoes that allow you to slide.

Zumba is generally considered a safe fitness activity that provides a fun, positive workout with options appropriate for all ages and ability levels. However, all fitness programs, regardless of type, carry an inherent risk. It's always best to talk to a healthcare provider before trying any exercise program, especially if you have a known lower extremity injury or a history of ankle or knee problems.

Classes currently meet once a week (currently, on Saturdays!) at Greenbriar Woodlands and they are for our residents only. There is a fee for this class set by and payable to the instructor. You pay as you go at the door. Residents who bring this flyer get one FREE Class!
